Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC is seeking an Industrial Practice Delivery Leader in Dallas to oversee and execute the Practice strategy, driving delivery performance and client engagement. You will partner with Practice Leadership, Market Leaders, Clients, Project Managers, and HR to deliver data-backed solutions for teammate development and service excellence.

The role requires 15+ years in architecture/interior design delivery, strong financial acumen, and extensive contract experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing people and teams, with strong communication at all levels.
• Financial acumen to analyze data, manage budgets, and drive profitability.
• Deep practice knowledge of Architecture/Interior Design industry and client needs.
• Strong proficiency in scope writing for proposals and contracts.
• Extensive experience with contract negotiations with legal teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning and development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Familiarity with Nelson’s systems including Deltek VantagePoint and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, with Practice Leadership, the Practice and leverage firm capabilities with other Nelson leadership.
• Collaborate with Studio Leaders and National Leadership on pricing and profitability targets.
• Review and negotiate contracts and agreements to mitigate risk.
• Analyze project performance to optimize business outcomes and profitability.
• Identify issues in the project lifecycle and implement solutions.
• Provide feedback and development opportunities to teammates.
• Develop and manage resource balancing across the Practice and Nelson-wide.
• Support succession planning and client relationship transitions.
• Maintain key client relationships as part of the Leadership team.
• Coordinate cross-team collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Nelson standards and data quality in project systems.
