Job summary

Sintel Manufacturing is seeking a hands-on Lead for our powder coating line in Michigan. You will coach teams, ensure quality, and drive on-time production across 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role emphasizes safety, throughput, and meticulous adherence to print specs and work orders.

As the line lead, you’ll train crew members, verify readiness, monitor daily performance, and push for continuous scrap reduction while maintaining a zero-incident safety culture aligned with SINTEL and OSHA guidelines.

• Train, guide, and verify that every team member understands their job requirements and is properly prepared to perform.
• Hold the line on quality—confirm parts conform to print specifications and any special instructions on the work order.
• Own schedule execution—ensure all work orders are finished on or ahead of time.
• Drive performance—consistently meet or exceed monthly efficiency objectives.
• Control waste—meet or surpass monthly scrap reduction targets.
• Champion safety—conduct all painting operations per written SINTEL procedures and OSHA safety standards.
• Grow your team—complete periodic employee performance reviews with actionable feedback.
