Plant Power & Control Systems is seeking an experienced Powder Coat Paint Lead to oversee the powder coating process and ensure top-quality finishes while driving production efficiency. This role involves supervising the powder coating team, coordinating workflow, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily powder coating operations to meet production goals.
• Set up and operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns, curing ovens, and booths.
• Ensure proper preparation of materials, including cleaning, masking, and pre-treatment processes.
• Monitor coating application for consistency, thickness, and adherence to specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections and address defects or rework requirements.
• Train and mentor team members on powder coating techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures.
• Maintain inventory of powders, chemicals, and supplies while minimizing waste.
• Perform routine maintenance on coating equipment and troubleshoot any operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Work closely with production supervisors, quality control, and other departments to optimize workflow and efficiency.
