Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is hiring for an onsite Plumbing/HVAC operator. You will assemble, install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems integral to HVAC units. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, cutting and joining copper and PVC pipes, and testing for leaks.

Safety and quality compliance are essential in daily operations. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for 2–3 hours, and familiarity with plumbing tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to stand for 2-3 hours, reach over shoulders/head, bend, twist as needed.
• Familiarity with plumbing tools and HVAC-related components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, repair and maintain industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Read blueprints and work orders to plan layouts for water supply, drainage and HVAC piping.
• Ensure precise measurements and cutting for copper/ PVC pipes; use hand and power tools.
• Join tubes and fittings via cement, soldering and brazing; test systems for leaks.
