Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 2-3 hours.
• Ability to reach over shoulders/head.
• Ability to bend at waist and knees.
• Ability to twist at shoulders/waist.
• Familiar with tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, repair and maintain industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Read blueprints, drawings and work order specifications to determine layout of the plumbing system (water supply networks, waste and drainage) of the HVAC unit.
• Ensure precise measurements, cuttings, bending and threading of copper or PVC pipe using hand and power tools.
• Join and secure tubes, pipes, couplings and fittings using cement, soldering and brazing.
• Test plumbing system for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• Work with Production Lead to meet standard operating procedures.
• Measure and mark guidelines for proper HVAC unit parts installation.
• Ensure safety and quality measures are followed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
