Job summary

PLZ Corp is seeking a PLC Controls Technician to support automated industrial systems at our Missouri facility. You will wire and troubleshoot 3-phase power systems, control panels, and robotics, with strong emphasis on preventive maintenance and electrical/mechanical repairs.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years in manufacturing, electronics/controls education, and experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs. The role demands collaboration, independent work, and occasional O/T with a path for advancement.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years industrial/manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Electronics/controls education or equivalent background.
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Wire 480V 3-phase power systems and install controls.
  • Troubleshoot controls and relays logic.
  • Repair mechanical systems such as conveyors and gearboxes.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagrams and meters.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on automation equipment.
  • Read manuals and schematics for repairs.
  • Read electrical and mechanical drawings for repairs.
  • Use plasma cutter and MIG welders.
