Job summary

Crown Battery Mfg. in Fremont, OH seeks an IND Wrapper/Stacker/Sleever for 2nd shift to wrap and stack pasted plates, then load them onto skids. You will ensure sleeves are correct and that produced parts meet specifications and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, basic math and computer skills, and strong communication with coworkers, supervision and management. OSHA practices and safety rules apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing/factory experience preferred in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, supervision, and management.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies, procedures and instructions.
• Identify and report product, process and quality non-conformities to lead personnel.
• Support corrective/preventive and improvement actions.
• Follow plant safety guidelines and use PPE as required.
• Maintain day-to-day housekeeping on the production floor.
• Wraps and stacks pasted plates to form an element.
• Ensure positive plates are wrapped with appropriate material.
• Unload plates from curing racks and check quality.
• Stack plates from the machine onto a skid.
• Unload and load plates from curing racks as needed.
• Run the sleever machine when required.
• Follow Crown Quality System documentation and objectives.
