Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a Palletizer and Strapper Operator to run the Palletizer and Strapper, perform quality checks, and help produce high-quality cans at minimal cost.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and following all safety procedures while keeping the work area clean and organized. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with at least 6 months in a manufacturing setting and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a manufacturing setting (high-speed manufacturing is preferred).
• Exhibit safety and quality as their top priorities
• Effective record keeping skills and the ability to focus on details.
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time.
• Effective and proven communication skills (both written and verbal) working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Palletizer and Strapper equipment.
• Perform visual check of finished goods.
• Remove damaged and/or suspect finished goods from palletizer and report same to Supervision, Production Line Operator and Quality Inspector.
• Utilize proper packaging materials (Chipboard, top frames and pallets).
• Verify and place proper pallet tags on finished goods.
• Keep equipment and all areas safe, clean, and organized through proper housekeeping.
• Follow all required environmental, health and safety procedures.
• Performs other related duties as required.
