Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Auxiliary Operator to join our Indianapolis facility team, collaborating with the control room to operate and inspect power plant systems safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems in safety procedures.
• Monitor boiler plant auxiliary equipment: pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves.
• Read data from meters and gauges to identify trends or disruptions.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment.
• Perform sampling, chemistry testing, and water treatment as required.
• Operate heavy industrial mobile equipment (cranes, skid steers, loaders, forklifts).
• Maintain correct refuse-fuel levels and mix in designated pits.
