Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Back Plant Operator to oversee safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operations of industrial systems and equipment in our waste disposal process. You will perform tasks, inspections and lock-out/tag-out procedures to ensure reliable facility operations.

The role requires experience operating heavy industrial equipment and the ability to work a rotating shift schedule. Competitive base pay and comprehensive day-one benefits are offered in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections utilizing various types of designated industrial equipment and hand/power tools.
• Complete routine inspections of assigned equipment and document details in accordance with facility procedures.
• Troubleshoot assigned equipment and responsibly report issues and repair requests utilizing defined work order processes and procedures.
• Utilize weekly activity books and critical items checklist to perform operational and equipment related function checks.
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out processes of equipment in support of assigned maintenance teams.
• Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
