Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Back Plant Operator in the United States (Virginia). You will oversee safe, efficient operations of industrial disposal processes and equipment at our facility, ensuring environmental and safety standards are met.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and experience operating heavy industrial equipment. A rotating shift schedule is expected, with rotating day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.
• Valid driver’s license
• Must have experience operating heavy industrial equipment
• Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections utilizing various types of designated industrial equipment and hand/power tools
• Complete routine inspections of assigned equipment and document details in accordance with facility procedures
• Troubleshoot assigned equipment and responsibly report issues and repair requests utilizing defined work order processes and procedures
• Utilize weekly activity books and critical items checklist to perform operational and equipment related function checks
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out processes of equipment in support of assigned maintenance teams
• Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
