Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Back Plant Operator in Maryland to safely operate industrial systems and equipment in our disposal process. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and follow defined work orders to keep operations efficient and compliant.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and experience with heavy industrial equipment. Rotating shifts, days and nights, are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or GED program encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections utilizing designated industrial equipment and hand/power tools.
• Complete routine inspections of equipment and document details per facility procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report issues and repair requests via work orders.
• Use weekly activity books and checklists to perform functional checks on equipment.
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out procedures to support maintenance teams.
• Other duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient operations.
