Job summary

Reworld in the United States is seeking a Back Plant Operator to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operation of industrial systems and equipment used in our waste processing facility.

You will perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and follow lock-out/tag-out procedures while supporting maintenance teams. The role requires a high school diploma and experience with heavy industrial equipment, and includes a rotating shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections utilizing various types of designated industrial equipment and hand/power tools
• Complete routine inspections of assigned equipment and document details in accordance with facility procedures
• Troubleshoot assigned equipment and responsibly report issues and repair requests utilizing defined work order processes and procedures
• Utilize weekly activity books and critical items checklist to perform operational and equipment related function checks
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out processes of equipment in support of assigned maintenance teams
• Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
