Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking an Auxiliary Operator to work with the facility control room, safely operating and inspecting power plant systems to ensure efficient disposal processes. Responsibilities include monitoring boilers and APC systems, reading data, handling sampling and chemistry tasks, and operating heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts.

Qualified candidates have 2–3 years of experience with heavy industrial equipment, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems in safety procedures; systems include boilers, air pollution control systems, ash systems and heavy equipment.
• Monitor and inspect boiler plant auxiliary equipment: pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves, mixers, conveyors, turbine generators and electrical devices.
• Read meters, gauges and data to identify trends or potential disruptions.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment.
• Perform sampling, chemistry testing, and water treatment as required.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment (cranes, skid steers, loaders, forklifts).
• Maintain correct refuse-fuel levels and appropriate refuse mix in designated pits.
• Additional duties to ensure safe operations.
