Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking an Auxiliary Operator to support our power plant systems in Massachusetts. You will work with the control room to operate and inspect equipment, ensuring safe and efficient disposal processes.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 2–3 years operating heavy industrial equipment, plus the ability to handle rotating shifts and on-call duties. A 2nd MA Fireman license or higher is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years’ experience operating heavy industrial equipment preferred.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and on-call coverage.
• 2nd MA Fireman license or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems safely and efficiently.
• Monitor boilers, air pollution control, ash systems, and heavy equipment.
• Read data from meters, gauges, and instruments to identify trends or disruptions.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment.
• Perform sampling and chemistry testing of water as required.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment (cranes, skid steers, loaders, forklifts).
• Additional duties to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
