Job summary

WM (Waste Management) seeks a Plant Maintenance Technician to monitor and maintain plant systems and equipment, including balers, conveyors, motors, and pumps. The role responds to failures, completes repairs, and ensures safe, efficient operation; reports to the Plant Maintenance Manager.

Requires 2 years of relevant experience, OSHA safety adherence, and pre-employment screening. A flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, is possible to support operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs following WM Safety and OSHA rules.
• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment.
• Maintain DEI backlog.
• Advises on work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Inspects third party repairs and rebuilds.
• Recommends improvements to production, equipment performance and product quality.
• Handle multiple priorities and emergencies.
• Work schedule may include nights and weekends; ensure safety compliance.
