Waste Management is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician for an on-site Miami facility. You'll perform preventive maintenance on balers, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, and related equipment, reporting to the Plant Maintenance Manager to ensure safe, efficient operation.

Expect growth in a stable environment with training, uniforms/PPE provided, and opportunities for career progression while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsabilités

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and repair major equipment.
• Maintain DEI backlog and back-up systems.
• Adjust procedures to meet production schedules and inform manager if more work is needed.
• Inspect the quality of third-party repairs and rebuilds.
• Respond to emergency breakdown service calls.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per OSHA requirements.
• Perform repairs with limited supervision and high standards.
• Be flexible with schedule including nights/weekends when needed.
• Support plant safety and efficiency initiatives.
