Qualifications

• Experience required: 3-5 years journeyman level.
• Authorized to work in the United States; Austin Industrial does not sponsor visas.
• NCCER-Ind Pipe certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
• Turn valves to shut off steam, water, or other gases or liquids from pipe sections.
