Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Pipefitter to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related equipment in industrial settings. You will assess layouts, prepare materials, and perform complex pipework while following safety and quality standards.

Required are 4 years Journeyman level experience, TWIC and DL, and NCCER-Ind Pipe PV certification. The role involves heavy lifting, working at elevations, and compliance with site regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: – no minimum education requirements.
• Certifications/Licenses: TWIC and DL; NCCER-Ind Pipe PV.
• Experience: 4 years of Journeyman level experience.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using saws, torches, threaders and benders.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures with brackets, clamps, or welding equipment.
• Plan pipe system layout and installation according to specifications.
• Inspect work sites and ensure no obstructions or structural weaknesses.
