Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a skilled pipefitter to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for industrial production.

The role requires 4 years of Journeyman level experience, NCCER-Ind Pipe PV certification, and a valid driver's license. You will work on steam, heating, cooling, and process systems in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Journeyman level experience.
• NCCER-Ind Pipe PV certification required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience with pipe systems and industrial piping layouts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using saws, torches, and threaders.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures with brackets and clamps.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
• Install automatic controls used to regulate pipe systems.
• Inspect work sites for obstructions and safety compliance.
• Operate pumps to remove water from flooded areas.
