Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Journeyman Industrial Pipefitter to lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems and related equipment for industrial facilities. The role requires at least 3 years of pipefitting experience and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, with physical endurance for lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualified candidates will pass pre-employment physicals, drug screening, and background checks.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Industrial Pipefitter with a minimum of 3 years of pipefitting experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related equipment.
• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using appropriate tools.
• Attach pipes to walls and fixtures per specifications and plan pipe layout.
• Operate pumps to remove water from flooded areas as needed.
• Work at heights, climb ladders/stairs, and wear PPE.
• Other duties as assigned.
