Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years minimum field experience in trade.
• Ability to perform material take-offs and pipe rigging.
• Read, write and communicate in English sufficient for job functions.

Responsibilities

• Identify pipe by size, type and wall thickness.
• Install and fabricate piping systems from drawings and isometrics.
• Perform simple rigging operations and install steam traps.
• Prepare material takeoffs for various pipe types.
• Read blueprints to erect piping systems and support structures.
• Fabricate and install pipe hangers, supports, and guides.
• Read and interpret pipe and hanger drawings.
