Job summary

Zachry is seeking an experienced Industrial Pipe Fitter in Texas to assemble, lay out, install and maintain pipe systems for steam, fluid or gas on industrial sites.

You will read prints, select tools, install valves, supports and hangars, and perform tests while working at heights up to 300 ft in varied indoor and outdoor environments.

Candidates must have NCCER certification and 4+ years of pipe fitting experience, plus strong teamwork and a solid commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Industrial construction/maintenance history required.
• Ability to read prints and drawings.
• Ability to read technical manuals and instructions.
• 4+ years in pipe fitting processes.
• Strong problem solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine scope of work and material needs.
• Identify tools required and safety risks for tasks.
• Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications.
• Install valves, hangars, supports, and flanges inside piping systems.
• Perform tests to ensure quality of piping systems.
• Hoist loads using rigging equipment as needed.
