Job summary

Zachry Group in Texas is seeking an Industrial Pipefitter to assemble, lay out, install and maintain pipe systems on steam, fluid or gas systems across construction sites. The role involves working in buildings, outside, and inside structures, including tanks or boilers, and may require work in underground areas and at heights over 300 ft.

Candidates must have 4+ years of industrial pipefitting experience, the ability to read prints, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Demonstrated industrial construction/maintenance history.
• Good problem-solving abilities and communication.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope and materials.
• Identify tools required for tasks and safety risks.
• Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specs.
• Install valves, hangers, supports, and flanges.
• Perform tests to ensure piping system quality.
• Hoist loads using rigging equipment.
