Job summary

This role requires 4 years journeyman experience, NCCER certification, a valid driver’s license, and TWIC card. The position involves reading blueprints, cutting and threading pipe, and safely operating

Qualifications

• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
• NCCER certification, a Valid Driver’s License and TWIC Card.
• Education: – no minimum education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine required tools.
• Attach pipes to walls and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.
• Inspect work sites for obstructions and safety.
• Operate motorized pumps to remove water from flooded areas.
• Turn valves to shut off steam, water, or other gases or liquids.
