Job summary

ResourceMFG is seeking skilled coating technicians to perform surface preparation and coating application in our Texas facility. You will work with sandblasting, masking, and chemical cleaning to ready surfaces before finishing.

Responsibilities include mixing and applying primers, epoxies, urethanes, and anti-corrosive finishes using spray gear, and verifying coating thickness to meet specs. Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols daily.

Qualifications

• Surface preparation and coating operations knowledge.
• Ability to measure coating thickness using gauges.
• Commitment to safety procedures and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform sandblasting, shot blasting, grinding, masking, and chemical cleaning to prepare surfaces.
• Mix and apply primers, epoxies, urethanes, and anti-corrosive finishes with spray equipment.
• Inspect coating thickness to ensure compliance with specs and maintain quality control.
• Clean, disassemble, and maintain spray guns, hoses, pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Follow safety guidelines and dispose of chemical waste according to PPE protocols.
