Aramark Facilities Management seeks a Painter I for the Parma, OH site. You will prepare surfaces and apply paint, coatings, and finishes to walls, equipment, and assets, while keeping a clean, safe work area. Most work is first shift, with occasional alternates for high-traffic periods.

Reliability and attention to detail are essential, and experience in painting, maintenance, or building trades is encouraged. This hands-on role involves working independently to support facility projects.

Qualifications

• Previous painting experience in commercial, industrial, or facilities maintenance.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work primarily first shift with flexibility to work alternate shifts when project needs require.
• Ability to safely use ladders, scaffolding, paint sprayers, rollers, brushes, and hand tools.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and repairing minor wall damage.
• Apply paint, stains, coatings, varnishes, and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Perform drywall patching, repairs, texturing, and touch-up work as needed.
• Match colors and finishes to maintain a professional appearance throughout the facility.
• Use brushes, rollers, sprayers, ladders, scaffolding, and other painting equipment safely and effectively.
• Protect surrounding surfaces and maintain clean work areas during and after projects.
• Follow all safety procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of paints, solvents, and related materials.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Support facility maintenance projects and respond to painting-related work orders.
• Communicate professionally with team members, facility personnel, and customers.
