Qualifications

• Previous painting or equivalent role required.
• Knowledge of painting and finishing techniques, hazardous materials handling is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a friendly, efficient customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Anticipates and responds to customer needs.
• Applies protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Washes, sands, and preps surfaces prior to painting or finishing.
• Installs and maintains drywall and ceiling textures.
• Sets up and uses scaffolding or ladders to reach surfaces.
• Determines color matches and consultations with customers.
• Prepares line striping layouts for streets and parking lots per requirements.
• Handles and disposes of paints and hazardous materials following safety policies.
