Position Title: Industrial Painter

Wage: $22/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:30am-2:30pm Monday-Friday

We are seeking candidates with previous industrial paint experience. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for applying specialized linings and coatings to steel piping systems used in critical industrial applications. Industrial Painter Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Prepare steel pipe surfaces through proper cleaning and pre-treatment methods.
2. Apply various industrial linings and coatings according to company specifications and quality standards.
3. Mask off threaded ends or areas requiring protection prior to painting.
4. Operate and monitor painting equipment, including compressors, sprayers, and mixers, adjusting settings as needed.
5. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and always use appropriate PPE.
6. Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning on painting equipment.
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized paint area; handle pipes properly and secure workstations.
8. Log production data accurately, including pipe types, coating details, durations, and issues encountered.
9. Assist with other tasks and support the team to meet production goals.

Industrial Painter Requirements:

1. Previous experience with industrial or steel coatings preferred.
2. Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating application methods.
3. Familiarity with industrial safety practices and adherence to safety protocols.
4. Basic computer skills for data entry.
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
6. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ pounds), stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.
