Job summary

nVent is seeking a Paint/Finishing position in a manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes surface preparation, applying various coatings, and maintaining quality standards.

You will monitor curing times, perform equipment maintenance, and work within established procedures while collaborating with teammates. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in painting or related fields, with a high school diploma preferred.

  • This position is classified as medium work, requiring the ability to lift, carry, or move materials up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs consistently.
  • Employees must be able to effectively communicate, hear, and visually assess work to ensure quality, safety, and accuracy in a manufacturing environment.
  • Work is performed in a manufacturing setting that may not be climate-controlled and can include exposure to varying temperatures.

Pay Transparency nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range: $14.80 - $27.50 Per Hour Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
