Job summary

stow is seeking a hands-on manufacturing operator in the United States to support painting, degreasing, drying, baking, and finish processes. You will read blueprints, set up stamping and roll forming presses, and maintain process equipment with attention to safety and quality.

We value mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and the ability to work with high-voltage paint systems. The role includes physical duties and adherence to PPE requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; vocational training a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience with stamping and Roll forming presses and manufacturing.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings, strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of measuring tools.
• Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, good problem-solving, teamwork, physical stamina (lifting, standing).

Responsibilities

• Operate machines, ovens and baths, pumps.
• Set paint guns at high voltage level, adjust air flow rates.
• Develop painting programs and parameter adaptations.
• Understand ATEX risks and automatic fire systems (STS).
• Run PH degreasing bath equipment and production cleaning steps.
• Perform degreasing, rinsing, drying, baking and painting processes.
• Conduct bath controls: pH, titration; use PPE as required.
• Operate blow guns, ATEX vacuum cleaners and floor cleaning machines.
• Maintain powder handling and spare parts for preventive maintenance.
