Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring an Outside Sales Representative for Gonzales, LA. The role focuses on growing the territory by bringing in new business and developing repeat relationships with existing accounts through a consultative approach.

The position requires outside industrial sales experience; knowledge of valves, pumps, and flow control products is a plus. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with opportunities for advancement and strong compensation

Qualifications

• Outside industrial sales experience within the industrial marketplace.
• Knowledge of valves, pumps, instrumentation; flow control products is a bonus.
• Ability to establish rapport and build solid relationships at all levels of customer organizations.
• Proven experience developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Computer skills and Profit 21 is a plus.
