Job summary

Weimer Bearing in Madison Heights, MI is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow revenue and expand customer relationships within a defined territory.

You will prospect, qualify opportunities, visit customers, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions. Travel will be regular within the territory; prior outside sales or industrial distribution experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong prospecting and lead generation skills with a track record of closing new business.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
• Experience in industrial sales or bearings/related industries is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Prophet 21 (P21) ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an assigned sales territory through regular customer visits and daily travel.
• Prospect, qualify and secure new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key decision-makers.
• Develop long-term partnerships with OEM and MRO accounts.
• Identify customer challenges and recommend effective product and service solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer support.
• Participate in product training and mentorship programs.
• Develop strategic plans to grow market share and territory performance.
• Seek opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and drive long-term growth.
