Job summary

Bearing Distributors Inc. (BDI) is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to expand the customer base within a defined territory and actively service current customers.

You will identify new opportunities, coordinate with suppliers, and use Outlook to track activities. The role emphasizes meeting sales goals, cost savings documentation, and teamwork in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Self-motivated and goal-driven with a focus on sales results.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service existing customers within a defined territory.
• Capture new business opportunities within current customers and through targeted outreach.
• Identify, pursue, and close new target opportunities.
• Collaborate with Supplier Partners to service customers.
• Use Microsoft Outlook to schedule and report activities.
• Document cost savings for customers and for BDI.
• Manage time and territory following BDI's standard selling process.
• Engage in business sales planning and forecasting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
