Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking an OT Network Engineer to design, support, and modernize the organization’s OT network infrastructure for upstream oil and gas operations.

The role focuses on reliability, security, and high availability of field communications supporting SCADA, telemetry, and remote operations. Collaboration with Operations, SCADA, Cybersecurity, and IT is essential, with travel to field sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of OT networking experience in upstream oil & gas or industrial environments.
• Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Network+ are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day OT network operations and support, ensuring high availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues impacting SCADA, automation, telemetry and field operations.
• Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of field communication systems (cellular, radio, microwave, satellite, private networks).
• Plan and execute hardware refreshes, technology upgrades, and network lifecycle replacements.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, asset inventories, and configuration standards.
