Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking an OT Network Engineer in Houston to design, support, and modernize the industrial network behind our upstream operations. You will ensure reliable field communications for SCADA, telemetry, and remote operations.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in OT networks, with strong Ethernet, TCP/IP, and SCADA knowledge, plus experience in acquisitions and infrastructure upgrades. Travel to remote sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience supporting OT networks in upstream oil & gas or similar industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience with industrial networking, field communications, and remote facilities.
• Experience with acquisitions, upgrades, and modernization projects.
• Strong understanding of SCADA communications and industrial networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day OT network operations and support ensuring high availability of field communications.
• Troubleshoot connectivity impacting SCADA, telemetry, automation, and field operations.
• Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of field communication systems.
• Participate in capital projects, vendor coordination, and documentation of network standards.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to implement secure OT network architectures.
