Job summary

JoCo seeks a Control Systems Developer in Tulsa, OK to design, implement, and maintain PI, SCADA, and OT solutions that collect and present critical operational data. You will translate requirements into reliable system designs and collaborate across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field preferred.
• 5-12+ years of IT, OT, automation, controls, or related experience.
• Experience with PI, SCADA, HMI, automation/control systems, or OT.
• Proficiency with Python, C#, and SQL/relational databases.
• Strong understanding of how operational data is generated, collected, and used in field or industrial environments.
• Oil and gas industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to maintaining safety as a top priority.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support PI, SCADA, and OT solutions that meet business and technical needs.
• Evaluate operational data and existing system functionality to implement enhancements and new capabilities.
• Perform coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, deployment, and ongoing application support.
• Translate operational and technical requirements into effective system designs and solutions.
• Work with operational data acquisition, relational databases, and enterprise historian systems to support data availability and usability.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation.
