Job summary

JoCo seeks an experienced SCADA Systems Analyst to design, integrate, and support SCADA/OT solutions. You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor peers, and drive improvements in data reliability and enterprise integration.

You will gather requirements, translate them into scalable SCADA designs, and build data pipelines linking edge, industrial, and enterprise systems. Strong SQL, Python, and OT protocol experience are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SCADA or technical team leadership experience
• Hands-on with ClearSCADA, AutoSol, Kepware, OPC, and protocols like Modbus, DNP3, MQTT
• Strong SQL capabilities; familiarity with Databricks, Python, Power BI, and cloud-based architectures
• Troubleshoot complex OT integrations, communications, and data-quality issues
• Knowledge of networking, telecommunications, flow computer protocols, and industrial systems; energy industry experience is beneficial
• Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a safety-focused mindset
• Database development and management experience and Windows programming skills such as Python, VBScript, or Ladder Logic are preferred

Job description

The SCADA Systems Analyst is a senior technical role focused on designing, integrating, and supporting SCADA and operational technology (OT) solutions. This position partners across technical and business teams to improve system reliability, operational data availability, and enterprise integration while providing technical leadership and supporting continuous improvement.

What are the responsibilities?

As a SCADA Systems Analyst, you will:

• Evaluate complex SCADA challenges and develop scalable solutions that address current and future operational needs.
• Lead technical efforts, mentor team members, and help keep projects aligned with established timelines.
• Gather business and operational requirements and convert them into functional SCADA designs and system enhancements.
• Build and support OT data pipelines connecting SCADA platforms, edge technologies, industrial systems, and enterprise data environments.
• Monitor and improve data reliability by resolving communication, integration, performance, and data-quality issues.
• Develop processes that prepare and contextualize operational data for analytics, reporting, machine learning, and business decision-making.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, OT, and IT teams to promote automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.

What are the requirements?
