Job summary

INVISTA is seeking an Operations System Engineer to join the Global Operations Technology Team in Texas. You will develop and support data/tech solutions across INVISTA's manufacturing network, leveraging OT platforms to drive operational excellence and asset reliability.

You will collaborate with process control, reliability, and IT teams to deliver reliable systems, actionable data, and scalable solutions, with hybrid work and periodic travel around 10% required.

Qualifications

• Experience with AVEVA PI, HighByte, KepWare and comparable OT platforms.
• Experience with MQTT, REST, OPC UA, or APIs.
• Experience reading, modifying, and developing SQL queries, and programming with PowerShell, C#, or comparable languages.
• Experience diagnosing OT challenges and implementing technical solutions with RCA communication to stakeholders.
• Willing and able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule and ~10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain OT data pipelines to transform raw process data into actionable insights.
• Integrate industrial IoT and real-time data sources into reporting, visualization, and analytics platforms.
• Partner with site and capability teams to develop engineered data solutions that improve decision making and operational performance.
• Support process monitoring, control systems, predictive maintenance, and asset health programs to reduce downtime.
• Apply OT and IT cybersecurity practices across supported systems and solutions.
• Provide OT infrastructure, industrial networking, and automation support as needed.
• Utilize approved AI-enabled tools to improve engineering, analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.
