Job summary

Honda Development & Manufacturing of America in Marysville, OH seeks an Operational Technology Cybersecurity Engineer to establish and enforce security controls across manufacturing networks, ICS/SCADA, and smart factory automation.

You will define OT security standards, integrate new machinery securely, and perform threat modeling and risk reporting for factory floor systems, coordinating with IT/OT teams to address emerging threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 0–2 years of OT/ICS experience preferred.
• Strong networking and security fundamentals.
• Excellent communication between plant engineering and IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement OT security standards for manufacturing hardware.
• Integrate new machinery into the plant network with security in mind.
• Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and risk metrics for factory systems.
• Audit ICS/SCADA for compliance with OT cybersecurity frameworks.
• Monitor trends and collaborate with IT/OT teams on threat response.
