Honda Development and Manufacturing Production Engineering team is responsible for the operational technology security of the manufacturing environment. The OT Security Cyber Prevention Engineer works across multiple technical and business areas to develop, implement, and maintain procedures, standards, and controls to prevent cyber incidents.

This role covers manufacturing equipment, OT enterprise systems, data analysis, and collaboration with IT and business users to ensure secure operation

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and internal teams.
• Business acumen in a technical environment.

Responsabilités

• Set OT standards for new equipment and integrate equipment into the OT network.
• Identify vulnerabilities, perform risk assessments, and track assets in the asset management system.
• Create, issue, and maintain OT policies and procedures.
• Define physical and logical access controls for OT systems and equipment.
• Develop and maintain OT technical standards for equipment and networks.
• Establish OT risk metrics and tools for visibility and reporting.
• Research industry benchmarks and recommend tooling adjustments to stay aligned.
