Job summary

Integrated Power Services, LLC. is seeking an enthusiastic Utility Operator to join our team. You will clean, strip, and paint AC/DC motor parts during disassembly and assembly as part of the repair process, using steam cleaners, sand-blasters, and other equipment.

Attention to safety and PPE is required and you will work closely with the winding department. You will also operate material handling gear, inspect parts for repair readiness, and help keep the service center organized and efficient.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform stripping operations to prepare A/C and D/C motor parts and components.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such forklift truck and cranes to aid in delivering or storing motors and parts.
• Demonstrate ability to correctly fill out and follow proper procedures.
• Operate hand tools in a safe and effective manner.
• Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cleans internal and external parts of motors, frames, cores, armatures, gears, housings and other equipment for repair.
• Operate cleaning equipment including steam cleaners, parts washers, sand-blaster, etc.
• Operate repair equipment including dip tanks, VPI systems and burnout ovens and other tools.
• Paint repaired assembled motors before shipped back to the customer.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in the assigned area.
