Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a motivated Utility Operator to join our team. You will clean, strip, and paint AC/DC motor parts during repair, collaborating with the winding department to ensure quality throughout disassembly and reassembly.

Qualifications

• Experience stripping A/C and D/C motor parts for repair.
• Operate material handling equipment including fork trucks and cranes.
• Follow safety procedures and proper work instructions.
• Safely use hand tools and small repair devices.
• Overtime and weekend availability as required.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean internal and external parts of motors, frames, cores, armatures, gears, housings for repair.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners and sand-blasters.
• Operate repair equipment including dip tanks, VPI systems, and bake-out ovens.
• Move motors and parts using material handling equipment to support repair flow.
• Paint repaired motors before shipment to customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with safety rules.
