Integrated Power Services (IPS) is hiring an enthusiastic Utility Operator to join our team in Illinois. You will clean, strip, and paint AC/DC motor parts during repair, using steam cleaners, wash stations, and sand-blasters.

You will work closely with the winding department and handle motors with forklifts and cranes while maintaining strict safety standards. The role emphasizes following procedures, performing tasks safely, and supporting production in a fast-paced service center environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to strip and prepare motor parts for repair and assembly.
• Able to operate material handling equipment to move motors and parts.
• Follow safety procedures and use protective gear consistently.
• Capable of understanding and following procedural training.
• Manual dexterity to use hand tools safely.

Responsabilités

• Clean internal and external motor parts, frames, cores, and gears for repair.
• Operate cleaning equipment and specialized repair gear.
• Move motors and parts using fork trucks and cranes as needed.
• Paint repaired motors before shipping to customer.
• Maintain safe housekeeping and follow safety rules.
