Zachry Group is seeking an experienced Millwright for an on-site role in Roxboro, NC. You will install, repair, and maintain complex industrial machinery, read blueprints, and use precision tools to ensure proper alignment and operation.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years in industrial construction/maintenance and at least 3 years in millwright tasks within industrial facilities. Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial machinery installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications and interpret technical manuals.
• Experience using industrial hand tools and power tools.
• Must have all Journeyman Precision Millwright hand tools.
• Minimum 4-5 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 3 years Millwright experience in Industrial facility.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work 7 days as needed.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain high-precision machines (ball mills, ID fans, turbines, conveyors, pumps, gears, bearings, compressors).
• Plan, inspect, verify and document scope of work.
• Use precision leveling and alignment tools to measure angles and distances.
• Fit bearings, align gears, attach motors and belts per blueprints.
• Dismantle machines with hand tools; assemble and bolt components to foundations.
• Operate lathes and grinders; construct foundations for machinery.
• Fabricate/install parts by measuring, cutting, drilling and welding.
• Rig and move equipment using cranes, hoists and rigging equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and lubrication; follow supervisor directives.
