Methuen Construction seeks a skilled Millwright to join our team in ongoing industrial projects. You will read blueprints and schematics, rig and set machinery, align baseplates, and ensure precise machine alignment for safe operation on active sites.

Ideal candidates have at least five years in construction, experience with wastewater/water plants is preferred, and a strong safety mindset. Join a team-focused company with long‑term career potential.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and machinery.
• High School or Vocational education or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in wastewater and water treatment plants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and repair drawings for equipment.
• Rigging, moving, and setting machinery and equipment on pads.
• Align machines and baseplates using hoists, jacks, micrometers and plumb bobs.
• Repair and lubricate machines, assemble and fasten to foundations.
• Follow OSHA safety practices at all times.
