Job summary

Methuen Construction is seeking a Millwright to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. You will read blueprints, rig and install machinery, align components, and perform maintenance on industrial equipment across our New England projects.

Ideal candidates have at least five years in construction, with strong knowledge of equipment and safety standards. The role requires physical endurance and the ability to work in a busy site environment with various construction operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and machinery.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the construction industry.
• Wastewater and water treatment plant experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and repair drawings for equipment.
• Rig machinery movement and installation on pads.
• Set baseplates, align machinery and motor shafts; install vibration isolation.
• Assemble machines and fasten to foundations with hand/power tools.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of machinery

5+ years construction experience
