Job summary

Methuen Construction Company, Inc. is looking for a full-time Millwright to play a vital role in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of construction equipment and have at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry.

You will be responsible for reading blueprints, rigging equipment, aligning machinery, and ensuring adherence to OSHA safety practices. This role involves physical demands including lifting and maneuvering around construction sites.

The position offers competitive pay ranging from $34 to $50 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics related to machinery.
• Experience in wastewater and water treatment plants is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Rig machinery and equipment on pads and perform setting and alignment.
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and machinery

Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment

Strong team player with a positive attitude

Education

High School or Vocational training

Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the construction industry
