Job summary

Swanson-Group-Inc. seeks a Journe y Millwright to maximize mill efficiency through preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of new machinery. You will collaborate with maintenance leadership, electricians, and operators to ensure safe, reliable production.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing welding and fabrication, and following strict lockout/tagout procedures in a job-rich, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive maintenance and PMs on industrial equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow SOPs for installation and modification.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and complete PMs as scheduled.
• Repair/modify/align machinery and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Install new machinery and read blueprints and specifications.
• Operate shop equipment and maintain cleanliness and safety.
