Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking a skilled installer to read blueprints and install machinery in industrial settings. You will follow layout plans and drawings to assemble and align equipment, using hands tools and power tools, while maintaining safety standards.

The role may require travel to different job sites on short notice and adherence to company policies. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 years of related experience; welding experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and blueprints.
• Perform mathematical calculations with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Follow instructions and read blueprints to determine work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all company and safety policies and procedures.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Dismantle machines using hand tools.
• Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks.
• Assemble and install equipment such as shafting and conveyors.
• Construct foundations for machines and align equipment.
